Egotisic Anarchism v. Social Solidarity

While listening to NPR the other day I heard a new phrase that I liked immedidately. Although this may be a misrepresentation of the phrase, it was "social solidarity," at least that's how I remember it now, these many hours later.

The phrase was in reference to how Europeans feel about their health/medical care system and each other. It made quite good sense to me and summed up a major difference between us (as in the U.S.) and them (as in everyone not lucky enough to be born in the U.S.). We seem more and more driven by a sort of egotisic anarchy, they by a sense that they are all connected in some way.

If I could I would paint this phrase across the world, or at least across the U.S.

How about you?
